Welcome to this survey on assistive communication tools (tools for augmentative and alternative communication, AAC).

This survey is aimed at those who use assistive communication tools, or are caregivers or assistants to a user. Regardless of the type of communication tool you use, we are interested in hearing about your experience. Your responses are completely anonymous.

The responses in the survey will be used to explore the value of communication tools for the user, caregivers, and society at large.

The survey consists of approximately 15-20 questions for those who use an assistive communication tool and about 20-30 questions for caregivers. After that, you will have the opportunity to answer additional optional questions if you have the time and energy.

You can pause the survey and then continue at a later time, as long as you respond using the same device.
